...and still the rains come, more than enough to fill the Darling River and put out Tassies bushfires......I keep telling this weather to go South but like King Canute in former times, nature doesn't listen.
Looking at the 4C I notice that the staff costs are in the order of $550 for 6 months which extrapolates to $1.1M for the year.I wonder if that includes our 2 American colleagues? It no doubt includes SC and Joe who would taken home between them say $500k for the year (back of envelope stuff) which would leave $600K for the rest of the staff which at the very best or worst equates to a work force of somewhere between 4 and 6 personnel.......wow!!!! That paltry number will include Carol Worth and possibly 2 further lab people plus a someone to answer the phone ad be the general gopher around the office. Doesn't leave many to do all the submissions and follow up does it?.......it makes me really appreciate how hard this minuscule team works for their shareholders and I marvel at how much they have already achieved, with much more to come.
Those amongst us who whinge and whine about what hasn't been done just dwell for a moment or two on what this team has done......you may then have more understanding why some of us are more tolerant about cutting them some slack when timelines are missed or pushed out.
Now I have got that off my chest it is back to building my Ark.
