I'll throw in my two-bobs worth for debate.... The possibility raised in the last 4C of the company going private has raised the question of value of this stock. Which BofD would want to take an overpriced company private...? So, its either speculators seeing this game and loading up, or insiders buying more, which is driving up the price. The board and key holders will want to keep the SP down - so expect little transparency or detail in upoming 4Cs on sales and prospects. They want to grab it all before it takes off.
