You may want to have a chat with Nearmap and recommend they change their business model then, as they fly around Australia and the USA, two fairly big countries and make their imagery available online via a subscription service.....seems to be going alright for them!
I agree with Thanky's comments that in this space it is a new business model and off in the future, so why worry about it, there is only upside in it for Pointerra and no costs that I can see apart from hosting the data which would be minimal.
To me, that business model with Land Surveys and the other business flying over Perth is a positive reinforcement of the Pointerra technology, that 2 different businesses in the industry can see the value in using the Pointerra platform to sell data they collect.
It is a long way off, but a Pointerra data marketplace is a good future development for the business, but it will take a while to build.
