Hi Tedd I do not know the margins , could be like the gillette razer sell the product at cost and then make the money on the brake pad and rotor sales a year later , the last presentation seemed to allude to that with one of the pye charts for the SIBS brake showing 40% of revenue was from spares and parts currently
It does say in the presy that the Teradura is fully enclosed
Volumes for Terra Dura (what a mouthful ) brakes
Last years sales were $8M from SIBS brakes (including parts sales )
Lets say they were to do $6M in sales for Dura brakes this coming year that would be 1200 sets of brakes sold
What is your definition of "mining transport trucks" ie rigid dump truck or articulated dump trucks ( ADT )?
If ADT think they are enclosed wet disk brakes ie on the Doosan on your run of the mill tractor like Masssey ferguson 165 the multi plate wet disk brakes enclosed have been around since the early 1970s - (there is no breather ) .
The Russians /Kazhakstanians tend to use road haulage trucks with dumper beds rather than built for purpose mining trucks in their mines maybe the ABV set up would work for them ?
