I would say the company is trying its best to ensure broad distribution of the products through the retail channel. In order for them to increase their penetration, they will need to spend heavily on advertising to raise awareness and to educate consumers on the merits of the product. Or else, they may have to sign licensing deals with would be partners who have bigger distribution networks and larger advertising budgets. In the meantime, they should double down on sales efforts through the wholesale channel.
