When a re-seller promotes a new product to market they put their reputation on the line. When the manufacturer / distributor halves the rrp the re-sellers integrity takes a hit. Customers who bought early feel cheated and want out. If the re-seller follows the market led price down they are morally obliged to refund or compensate if they hope to restore that customer confidence in their business. That's not possible so they take the hit, once. I think some of the original re-sellers will credit stock on hand and drop the product.
The initial stocking orders are always good. The real measure of success is the followup orders.
Air selfie needs to be $79 as pointed out in an earlier post. Their will be plenty of interest in the product but whether that translates to people pulling out their wallet is another issue.
