A losing trade is a losing trade. Averaging down is a gambling term.
This is a stock you put a few grand in and hold for years prepared to lose it all or short term trade with stops.
I put too much in a while ago lucky I made a few good short term trades but still risked far too much.
I say this in hindsight us retails investors are such suckers.
