Arma - The NSW Ambulance Service use both standard burettes and the FirstFlow (Autostart) burettes. The video in the link below indicates they use FirstFlow in preference where there is need to keep the vein open after the initial dose of medication is delivered.

Spartacus - It is my understanding both NSW Health and now Queensland Health have approved the FirstFlow for their purchasing schedules. This of course relates only to the public system. Private hospital networks have their own separate set of red tape to navigate through.
