My take on the lack of volume is just that no-one is willing to sell. As the bids keep increasing, the volume is drying up.. so more and more holders are keeping their shares, yet the bots and bidders still want in. So it keeps pushing onwards and upward.
In some cases, you will see this before an upwards breakout after supply dries up - with IMF though I couldn't say. Its liquidity and history is a bit odd. I take some reassurance though that there is no big selling into the news these days like happened in the past. So we just keep waiting for the announcements, bank balance to grow, sp to increase and dividend to be paid.
