The market leading up to the anticipated announcement was as hot as Hades and over-populated by rampant day traders. The mood these visitors brought was that 4DS was the next good punt and holding for the imminent announcement was the path to riches.

The announcement was not the one they were rabidly awaiting, it turned out to be (as those better-researched were expecting) "Iteration 1". No more no less. Clearly there was no pump to be had from this ann. and many DT's were crushed trying to simultaneously get through the fire exits. Seeing the weight of the exodus, many still on this thread sold parcels as well. And have bought back in lower and to varying degrees since.

So by weight of numbers, your market comment holds up, but what you fail to observe is that the market was being a complete ass and acting like an ignorant, petulant schoolboy.

Symptoms observed: agreed.

Cause and effect: the market was indulgently unaware and behaved accordingly.

Next time...when we get Iteration 2 in the next 60 days approximately (or less) how will the market react? IMO there will be less stampeding, but also less hype on the way up.
