Can you provide some factual evidence that points to the 'first batch being a disaster in execution and comms', and more specifically the announcement that substantiates your comment about the first iteration being a 'failure in build, testing and communications'?
To me this sounds a little like a case of you venting based on the fact the results of the first iteration didn't align with your expectations (many of us are in the same boat here)
