1 The consolidated year to date cash flows have been prepared using reverse acquisition accounting. In reverse acquisition accounting, the cost of the business combination is deemed to have been incurred by the legal subsidiary Skyfii Group Pty Ltd (the acquirer for accounting purposes) in the form of equity instruments issued to the owners of the legal parent, Skyfii Limited (the acquiree for accounting purposes).
Not that I really understand it, but it seems like the Jan quarterly only reported the cost of Skyfii limited (formerly RKS consolidated) for that quarter, where the acquisition was done half way through the quarter. The April quarterly shows the YTD (9 month) of Skyfii Group Pty Ltd + Skyfii Limited.
