@vxleather to be frank I agree with everything that has been said over the last few posts.
I have decided to rule a clean line in the sand from when Ted joined the company, no more smoke and mirrors, hyped commentary, CEO selling his own stock at $150mil market cap levels, with the expectation of revenue next quarter. I can't let the past dictate my view on CVT into the future, in saying that, I am not happy with the price as most people on here aren't, as it owes me +20c, however I have to be pragmatic with CVT going forward.
The reality is, to turn a business around, break the spending cycle and cut a clear path the becoming profitable, this takes time;
1. Assess the current business, contracts, pipelines, expenditure etc,
2. Make tough and swift decisions where to cut the fat / excess & cease previous no performing relationships,
3. Make a firm decision on the best direction to take the business going forward, where to apply your skills, leverage from your network and apply spending into the business that will have a direct benefit to your bottom line over time and or that will increase your chances of making sales,
4. Execute formal relationships with new business partners / clients that are revenue generating to the business
5. Increase spending and support to areas of the business that are revenue generating +Repeat step 4. over and over again....
I am prepared to back Ted and the new team in to deliver this, because, to be frank if we continued on the old path, we would be dead in the water by now. Ted joined CVT for a reason, not to steer a high cash burning tech play into the ground.
He has also attracted some impressive people onto the board and into senior management positions within the company. These people all have a higher degree of understanding when it comes to the sector and opportunities for CVT. There is a reason why these people have chosen to leave senior roles from established organisations to work with Ted at CVT.
As per the quarterly, I think it's only a matter of time until we start to see the fruits of the team's labour as they progress from strategy implementation to executing revenue generating contracts for the business.
