Mind you, in a sense it would benefit EUR with some cash, but the P&D would leave stranded those shareholders who bought on the pump.

ASIC instructs directors to: "

give the interests of the company, its shareholders and its creditors top priority, which includes acting in the company’s best interests (even if this may not be in your own interests)

Would a scheme you speculate about be counted as in the interests of the company and of its shareholders. A lawyers delight.
