The fundamentals of Senex didn't change between the day before and the day after the writedowns (unless all you do is look at the price to book ratio?), not sure why you are having kittens Elliot?
How long have you held Senex Elliot? If no longer than a few years then the money that got written off was spent prior to you buying Senex, and if you bought Senex based on its P/B ratio then you may need to consider your technique for investing in mid cap O&G's.
