Agree that the company is a cash generating machine. Problem is that I think the market simply doesn't care any more. Beating guidance and building cash doesn't cut it. Until they can diversify away from Gwalia I think SBM wont outperform the other Australian gold stocks.
There has been a lack of takeover activity among the cashed up companies but I just feel SBM will be the first to blink. In some respects even if they had to over pay for an asset the share price would probably benefit from the perception of better diversification.
