Mr. Michael James Quinert is a Legal Professional of Oakley Thompson & Co. Mr. Quinert joined Oakley Thompson in 1989 and focuses on corporate and commercial law. Mr. Quinert worked at Kearneys in Melbourne, as well as two years as a Solicitor for the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in Melbourne. At the ASX, he reported to the Listing Committee on new floats, reconstructions, mergers, and listing rule interpretations and amendments. Mr. Quinert developed significant experience and expertise in all matters relating to capital raisings, Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), back-door listings, mergers and acquisitions, buy backs, capital reconstructions, and corporate governance. He possesses specific expertise in assisting corporations to complete IPOs, and has assisted numerous groups across a range of industry sectors to successfully list on the ASX. He has extensive experience in assisting and advising public companies on capital raising and market compliance issues. He has over 27 years experience as a commercial lawyer, including three years with the Australian Securities Exchange Limited and over 20 years as a Partner in a Melbourne law firm. Mr. Quinert serves as an Executive Chairman of West Wits Mining Limited and has been its Director since April 13, 2007. He has been a Director of HealthLinx Limited since September 5, 2013.
