I agree @MrMustard somewhat - my only objection or doubt is there was a long time to run still on the date (I could be wrong), so could be exerciser maybe thought weakness to come of SP perhaps(?)

Normally when options are exercised, in my opinion, they are exercised to be sold.

On an aside, the performance shares for management also have a long expiry date which also leads me to believe that the apparent perceived takeover/buyout may still be a very long time away, despite what many are saying around here

Anyway will continue to watch - may jump in as a medium-long term play on further weakness in SP

For what it's worth the company has desrisked further from a few months ago
