Many of the larger mining groups still continue with their own exploration work; however, they also often look for additional properties from the smaller exploration companies. Particularly if a small company finds itself with a major Gold find on its hands. There is always the potential for a buy-out of a small explorer by one of the larger mining groups; however, in this case it is just me speculating as I have no more knowledge than anyone else at this stage.

For the moment I would still like to see BBX progress with defining a JORC resource, to continue with their drilling and trial mining plant and to finally settle on a workable extraction method that can be readily up-scaled as and when required. Even if such a cost-effective extraction plant cannot remove all the precious metals contained in the ore at one pass with the kind of g/t grades ware seeing it could still be very profitable.

Let’s hope we hear some news shortly as not everyone is a believer and I would like nothing more than to see someone like Warwick Grigor eat his alchemy words and apologise in another of his miss-informative Australian articles!
