I think OIL needs to give shareholders a bit more information about Archie Fraser's resignation. He resigned on January 22, 2018. According to the terms of issue of his 7.5m options "Vesting is subject to Mr. Fraser's continued employment with the company" and "On resignation any unvested options are forfeited". However we are now told that 5.2m shares were issued on January 29, 2018.
Now directors may have some discretion in the treatment of options of key staff members (for example, due to ill health on leaving the company) but I trust we are not about to see 5.2m shares in OIL disturbing what should be a healthy share price in 2018.
