Oddly I am a high net worth client of Bell Potters but they did not ask me about the placement. The buyer of options had to find sellers so hardly surprising it was not one trade. The point remains a lot of options were sold to we know not whom. I would assume the bulk of the take up of options apart from Directors was taken up by people who were NOT original option holders, otherwise why spend money to buy options? 15.6 million options were traded on the last day.
