@whytee
I can see you have made a mistake with your calculation, don't worry it is an easy one to do. Overall it is only $565,500.40
$306,364.10 from Douglas (6,127,282)
$259.136.30 from Gregory (5,182,726)
The $112,500.00 that your adding to the figures is an off market transfer amount from Arkenstone (Family trust) to the Superannuation fund or vise-versa. (750,000 options at $0.15)
300K is certainly not chump change to us, but to Douglas and Gregory you would have to say it is. Lets look at the salary to each director just for the 15-16 year. Note all figures have been obtained by the annual report(s) of TAS, CNJ and EDE.
Douglas
CNJ - $16,425
EDE - $39,420
TAS - $39,240
Total - $95,265
Gregory
CNJ - $51,328
EDE - $188,887
TAS - $163,444
Total $403,659
Now that is just their base salary in those companies, if they are directors in Noble no doubt they will have more $$$
We also need to combine the management fees both brothers charge each of the companies they are directors in
These figures are a combination between the two directors:
CNJ has paid in management Fees to the following
Lawyer firm (Solomon Brothers) - $355,342
Princebrook (has an interest in) - $117,446
EDE has paid in management Fees to the following
Lawyer firm (Solomon Brothers) - $91,506
Princebrook (has an interest in) - $194,670
TAS has paid in management Fees to the following
Princebrook (has an interest in) - $434,760
So between the two companies the brothers have interests in a further $1,193,724.
So $1.7mill overall, OK i understand the payments made in management fees are not going entirely to them, but then again I'm not including salary from those two companys the brothers are directors in.
You would have to say $300k... is really just chump change for them when you get those figures.. yes?
and @MarkyBoy49
I don't think the CNJ relationship is complicated as it is under the control of Tasman Resources, as sourced by the Top 20 in the annual report. But yes the TAS/Noble/EDE is complicated.
N, Looking at the figures above I've posted to @whytee - I guess you can see why the tangle web is there, like you say multiple ways of obtaining payments and having control.
