I tell ya, I'm only four years into my investing experience, and just when you think you're starting to make sense of it, y'know, piece a few things together, find a strategy that delivers over time, you find yourself knee-deep in a boggy mire that has you questioning everything you think you know. And it's right about this same time that you not only question current investments, but also start baulking on every opportunity your experience has led you to believe you should back. Like a mad ol' dog chasing its tail, you've forgotten what you were chasing to begin with.
Talking story here because I've come to highly value Jim and the associates that stop by his office, despite having never met you all and pressed the flesh.
Having said all above, I can hand-on-heart say I've come to appreciate investing because, if for nothing else, it has taught me to get comfortable with my emotions surrounding money.
The market, just like the tide, goes in ebbs and flows, highs and lows. I'm sure it will correct. The tough part – roughing it through the lows, grinding it out, or closing out and starting again.
At any rate, trade well! Stay deadly!

(And, at risk of sounding presumptuous, please don't like this – best we keep Jim's office covert)
