There is no way regulatory changes will take 30% of the EPS and cause a $700m destruction in the market capitalisation of IFL.
As far as I know IFL has had an issue with compensation of around $18m for incorrect distributions and a far from perfect performance by the CEO at the Hayne Banking Royal Commission. Apart from that what has been the crime. I could also include some issues with the previous GM of Research but that has been dealt with.
I would expect IFL to drop further until the first report is handed down by the Royal Commission in February, unfortunately.
