Semi,
Because of what they said in the last announcement on the subject.
It is the same problem many other companies are having.
This from the activities report 30/7/18
The Polaris commissioned work also showed Anteo’s silicon/carbon composite wasable to produce a working battery using an anode with a silicon content of 24wt.%demonstrating a substantial improvement in electrode capacity compared to aconventional graphite anode. Whilst initial use of silicon’s capacity was in theexpected range, cycle efficiency fell away faster than ideal. The focus of future workwill be to optimise silicon composite structures and improve the cycling efficiency.
ADO can improve the energy capacity but the cycling is still not 'ideal'.
The battery companies have been convinced that further work can improve the cycling, and more work is being done, because they have signed up for MTAs.
An even dispersion of silicon and carbon could make a difference and AnteoCoat does dispersion very well, by the looks of things.
We wait and see if they can do it.
