Yes it's certainly a rare bird indeed...a positive ANN from ADO.

Unfortunately for SHs, it's again a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, shrouded in secrecy. But we suppose details will eventually be drip-fed to long-suffering SH's (especially if it fails.)

FH suggests we will hear a lot of "there's more research to be done"...(that oft-regurgitated phrase seen at the end of some flatulent scientific paper.) And it will drag on and on.

The only bright spark is that it is all economically-driven (unlike basic research) and so, if there are economic gains to be made, SOMEONE will "take the bait" under FOMO.

What gains are to be made? FH is unable to guess. However, we think the most Si incorporated into existing Li anodes is around 6-10%. We know they can be made to function (just) with Anteocoat at 30%. FH guesses that, in the absence of any further rapid breakthroughs, they will settle on something that has maybe 15% Si incorporated, which will give a noticeable improvement in battery function while still maintaining cycle number.

Progressing battery performance in small increments, rather than a huge leap, would be better for the battery makers and for ADO as it would stretch out the timeline of use of ADO's products.

All just IMO.
