Another impressive report .... Yes and NO ... the bottom line is that the staff walk away with ever more loot .... Cool Hand gets another $million and the part time NEDS walk away with $115-130k (plus super of course) for a part time job .... mates rates. Meanwhile long term shareholders are still getting a regular dose of hopium but bugger all else .... the SP was $0.51 in 2014 and now $0.60 .... not accounting for inflation. For those who were shareholders in 2012, the SP was $4 .... and the market cap was similar to NST. Note how the rumination report only use statistics going back to 2014.
Len Elderidge appears to be merely another 'mate' in a sinecure .... where's the corporate action ??? Where's the dividends ....
Before anyone jumps all over me for expecting a dividend may I point again that this company has produced over a million oz's since 2007, and is promising to produce the same in a much shorter period, and has been producing hefty dividends for the staff and NEDS since inception.
As this report only promises to continue making this a better company for staff and the Kalgoorlie and Perth economy (rather than being a shareholder) I will be voting against the remuneration report .... note most of the NEDs and Cool Hand don't own many shares .... and these shares were freebies as the result of STI & LTI's which are easy hurdles. But then again when your base salary is twice the PM's and you have more a more secure job, who needs bonuses? Why do we need to give bonuses for doing the job they are paid exorbitant salary to do? These chauffeurs rewards are excessive while the true owners get nothing except holding costs and hopium.
