There's a chance this company will finally get it together but it's very much only a chance. Over a billions shares on issue and hardly any revenue. And limited funds.
These are obvious facts that outsiders can see and it reflects in the SP that isn't budging.
I'd like to be much more optimistic but the fact is that it's still a risk.
Some people like to ask questions about risk and some want to bury them.
I'd really like to know that free spending days are over. That the company isn't going to use windfalls to back diagnostic technology that isn't going to have high renumerative takeup. But you can't be sure. The Roadshow reports don't reassure on that point.
You must have a healthy company culture and a discussion culture or it can look dodgy to outsiders who have a sharper sense of accountability than I did. I used to believe the hype. Then I wised up. Asked questions that I should have asked before.
I'm not sure that it would reward LT shareholders to have a takeover. After everything we've been through it would be an anticlimax. It would certainly effectively give us a consolidation.
