Tin, and don’t forget that female CEO of the American health ? Company at one time valued in the Billions, that fraudulently talked up the company, was a pack of cards and worth zilch. I’m not suggesting that TSLA is that, but as you say, the orbital engine was a good invention, worked well, small, powerful etc...had all the credentials to what end ?
Roger Montgomery came up with some astounding statistics about cash burn, PE ratios, and sales figures for Tesla (and they didn’t look good compared to BMW). When it comes down to it, price is going to be the killer. Look at solar energy and solar panels. It is now becoming feasible on a payback scenario, but people are very adverse to change and when it hits their hip pocket, they will be even more unlikely to change. I wonder too, how Tesla plans to have the dealership network to maintain and service their vehicles. Car sellers these days, really don’t make that much selling the cars as they do in servicing them. I’d be a shorter too on TSLA.
