My view is quite different.
I think an extraordinary amount of work has been completed in the past 12 months (diamond drilling, auger, mapping, trenching, soils, stream sediments, generative) for relatively little outlay of AQI shareholder funds, thanks mainly to Barricks funding plus the frugal way in which the MD and his team operate.
Adding Ianna has been a significant achievement this year. Looking forward to some good drill results, with assays that support the previous intercepts and visible gold reported to date.
With drilling underway on both projects then decent results could come from either, or both projects.
Newmont and Barrick both have World Class generative exploration teams. They each went to this part of Guyana for a very good reason and Barrick are now increasing their spend at Arakaka.
Ianna should also be of interest to a large mining company, but personally I think AQI are wise to retain 100%, for now.
