Does anyone know what the mineralogical characteristics of the NiCo Young current ore resource is? I understand it is a Nickel Cobalt laterite deposit with higher Co grades than usual, but I am interested to know whether it has limonitic properties such as high iron low clay and low in calcium and magnesium... additionally, would JRV possibly be able to use a similar flow sheet such as CLQs for efficient recovery of this laterite deposit.
JRV pre upgrade JORC: 82mt at 0.79% Ni (0.6% cut off) and 0.06% Co vs CLQ: 109mt 0.65% Ni (0.6% cut off) and 0.1% Co
If the upgrade can pull up the Ni and Co grades for JRV and they can work out feasible metallurgical testing then this could turn into a cracker of a project. CLQ 500m MC...
Any assistance would be appreciated!
