Gmac - they incurred extra cost during construction because it was cheaper to build some elements of higher production into the plant during the initial construction. I thought at the time that it was a sound idea (and still do) - but didn't expect the complete stuff up of stage one.

I don't think stage two has been started yet - if they do GBG will need to come up with more cash :-(

At the time this was all painted by our know SFA media as a cost blow out on stage one - when in fact it was building higher production capacity into the plant to minimise shut down time of the plant and get stage two up and running quicker.
