The 'Chairman's message and CEO's review' - a joint effort by the two of them - is encouraging. For me, the key sentence is:
'Management can now focus on our core businesses of ginger and macadamias, without the substantial distraction imposed by a non-performing baking business.'
One can't always accurately judge from words, but I get the impression that Buderim is being reinvigorated.
I think there may be parallels with Webster (WBA) - a company that has completely turned itself around in the last couple of years by exiting non-core and non-performing businesses and focussing on what it does best.
