FAR more than anyone would know if the price for COPs working interest was cheap or expensive. Only because they didnt have the cash to move at that time they had to conjure up some delay by using a literal argument from the JOA clause that they required the share sale terms despite the fact that there was no transfer of the WI from one holding company to another simply a change of control. I mean no material risk to FAR so good luck to them but IMO this was probably just a hail mary thorn in the side of WPL to say throw us a bone to be quiet next time with an outside small chance of success at grabbing a major prize.
