Decided to come out of retirement this morning after the word arete triggered something in me. Discussed greatly some time ago because it came straight from the horses mouth " a ministerial Arete under Senegalese Law needs to be gazetted". Gazetting means it is officially published by the Government and everybody in the Country (or outside) can read it Don't think legal training or qualifications are required. This has not happened to date. The second part which came directly from the mouthpiece of FAR and witnessed by 4 of us (and everybody can read into it what they like) is that neither FAR or anybody else including the Government of Senegal has ever seen the Arete WPL is talking about.
Regarding making an announcement on the ASX, since nothing happened, there is nothing to announce.
I would suggest to STH, a poster who I think is well researched and generally not prone to hyperbole, (but having a WPL bent) to approach WPL in writing to get clarity on the Arete. He is after all a WPL shareholder.
