Know what you are saying u812; my wife was in aged care for years and years before retirement and the stories she tells are both horrific and heart warming. One story was of an old lady that used to recite a line from a poem. My wife mentioned it to a visiting son who who gave her the name of the poem and told of her love for it. The wife googled, printed it out, and the next time they were together, started to sing it or recite it. At this point, the lady joined in and knew the whole lot by heart. And, my wife says she was like an 18 year old for that brief moment.
So much we are missing about the aged or demented. cheers jwt
