I'm very interested in other peoples perspective and thoughts on subjects such as these as we can all be a little wiser, and after all thats what a forum is for - so i welcome discussion.
However, just interested in your motivations on posting on the MOF thread in particular with no stock held? Is this because this particular REIT in your opinion is at significant risk in comparison to others and you see your role as a white knight to make people reassess their risks (as i do constantly, as we all should). Otherwise Wouldn't it be more of a generic posting on LPT/REITs? why did you pick MOF?
Equally in hearing what you say, MOF for example is 80-90% devalued share price from a year ago, and the market has taken significantly the risks such as these into account and the market share price has already factored a lot of this in. More significantly MOF is made up of a large portion of american properties and as such took a bigger hit last year than those wholly australian portfolios which assumed they were immune and to which your expertese is clearly relevant.
