You can show a similar chart for the Brazilian Real gold price but as I said that company reports a negative profit sensitivity to a decreasing Real against the USD.
below is a statement from BDR 's sensitivity analysis from its recent half yearly report.
"Assuming all other variables remain constant, a 10% strengthening of the Brazilian Real at 31 December 2017 against the United States Dollar would have resulted in an reduced loss of $3,616,000 (2016: $4,101,000 increased profit). A 10% weakening of the Brazilian Real would have had the equal but opposite effect, assuming all other variables remain constant."
As I suggested if profits are being re-invested in Turkish Lira into new projects (say Gediktepe for example) then that would be a tail-wind but I can only conclude that a halving of the Lira from when the DFS was done would have reduced the Canadian NPV of the Çöpler Sulfide project unless someone can explain differently. I've recently tried to download the full feasibility to see if there are any sensitivities included but have had trouble opening the PDF. Can anyone find a working link or the relevant sensitivity analysis?
