When you say they have been talking about progressing the Anglo Saxon deposit for years, I agree they have been tardy on delivering as the market is still waiting for those feasibility numbers that were promised a few years back

However, consider this from recent announcements:-



They have lodged and had approved a mining proposal, and make specific reference to SAR's Carosue Dam Mill only 35km away

Whether that leads to a JV with SAR or not, we don't know. But some of us like to read between the lines and take punts on catalysts before they occur

There are other juniors in the market like NXM that have struck deals with SAR to eliminate the capex spend and seen their SP rally 50-100%

A for valuing HAW, compare it to NXM. They have a similar cash balance to HAW, trade with an EV of around $3M. They own 85% of their deposit and have a truck and treat agreement with SAR (details of royalties/splits not given). Their resource is 28k ozs @ 2.2g/t

So HAW trading on a similar EV but with the added 40% exposure at Mt Ida isn't exactly expensive
