Its insane. The drill is in place, finish off the 1000 feet. otherwise cough up another 50-100k to relocate the drill later on down the track to finish the hole.
It seems like they are trying to grab every drop of oil they can at the moment to make their monthly production reports look good.
"Oh, we have drilled 4000ft, saw a little bit of black stuff, got excited, so we are going to extract that!"
