Blitz - "There are a number of milestones that can take up to 360 days"
Roadix - "It is anticipated that the firstdelivery of batteries will take place within 12 months of the contract being signed."
Promising UTR now have a plan and a timeline to manufacture and sell batteries. The blitz batteries should be available for testing in 150 days so we may hear news in six months from announcement - a month to test etc? The volumes still aren't great, but in the run up let's hope they'll sign up a few more and the turn around time to get new batteries to production should decrease with development already done. Do E-Scooters have a standard form factor for their batteries like cars etc? If so, in 12 months we might be glad we bought in. Anybody who owns an E-Scooter please chime in.
One question - not sure if UTR are required to make custom chargers etc - I'm assuming rapid charging would require a charger capable of delivering higher power etc? In the announcements regarding the purchase agreements they say the batteries would deliver higher power and torque, range (due to higher voltage I assume - Voltage x Amps = Power), but I would have thought rapid charging would be an even bigger benefit. Are they using the titanium dioxide nanotube material in these batteries or not?
Anyhow, the way I'm reading it is revenues should land first quarter 2020, and I will hang on to mine till then. Hopefully we'll receive a few more positive announcements along they way to balance out downward pressure on SP from CR's till then.
