After a quick look I can't really find any information about Pulsecor and the old CPTIII code. In the Uscom presentation given with the acquisition there is a dot point about an imminent CPT decision though, so it was always known to be beneficial for the device.

That highlights the difference I suppose. Atcor dedicated numerous slides in a presentation about the upcoming CPT decision, giving the impression it was a major game changer for them.

In the end, I believe the announcement has the same effect for both companies. There may be a question for Uscom's management to answer about the delay and whether they are maximising shareholder value when a competitor can make the same announcement and double in price, but I don't mind the companies I own underpromising and overdelivering.
