There's a lot I'd like to say but the hot copper rules prevent a lot of it. I do think ASIC needs to do their job and a lot of companies get away with a great many illegal activities, but silly games on forums are pretty difficult to police. There should be more scrutiny of false statements in company announcements, and whrn companies put out clearly false information there should be severe penalties. Many companies do it blatantly.
It's easy enough for anyone to anonymously post whatever they want on forums, and people would be stupid to take it as gospel, but official announcements could easily be regulated. Not talking about AEB specifically, but I think we've all seen plenty of blatant lies in official company announcements.
