The previous feedback that the Alcidion received from its previous institutional roadshow was that instos, before considering an investment in Alcidion, want to see a track record of:
(1) Contract wins
(2) Revenue growth
(3) Profitability
That feedback essentially reinforces Alcidion's internal thinking (including Nathan Buzza) and was fundamental to many of the things that were happening behind the scene.
If you look at things from that lens, Alcidion's business strategy and recent merger and acquisition activities makes a lot more sense.
In my view, it is going to take a few more quarters before a reputable insto is willing to step up and take a stake. It is of little concern to an insto to miss out on some easy (but potentially riskier) profits if it minimises the chances of them losing their clients' monies.
The recent 4C is an excellent start and a good base for Alcidion to build on and follow through on their execution of business strategy and etc.
