Its a contract renewal, so very likely that the hospital just sent through their approval to the renewal paperwork they would have been sent. No prior knowledge as such by management, at least nothing that we wouldn't also be able to assume by knowing the previous support expiry date.

It is however great to see and shows that they are indeed happy with the software/service, but really it's pretty much assumed customers will renew for support (unless something is wrong!). The software is usually pretty useless without support (no updates, security etc) and in the end it is something that the hospital would budget for ongoing when the original contract was signed.

Still the support renewals are where the profits are made. So that renewal should in theory contain some solid profit margins!
