Well, what it does say seems odd to me anyway. The newspaper article clearly states that Alannah MacTieran "said" that the extension was granted and why. But Carnegie are saying that not only weren't they told this on the 23rd, they still haven't heard it.
Has no-one been in to the office to check the answering machine since Friday, or have they actually still not been told 4 days after the press were told?
