How much do you suppose a lawyer in Ghana is going to charge to an accomplished lawyer who is a director of Viking? Don't think it's going to diminish the $3m too much. I hardly think it was prudent to pursue legal action without waiting to see if BXC were going to pay up of their own accord.
Not to mention that the company has a few mil to pursue any opportunities, and market is only just starting to pick up after being in the doldrums for most of the year - would have been a fairly pointless exercise in terms of share price appreciation.
