How long do you give a startup to start generating profits before you knock it on the head?
If you expect a start up to take 10yrs, you fund it initially for that period. You don't fund it for 6 months, then 6 more, then 6 more, then 6 more, then 6 more, then 6 ...............
And you certainly don't have a revolving door of directors, each taking their 'reward' on the way through.
