Of cause we only compared the results of the same periods (July-Oct) of this year and last year, and never did anything otherwise.
Well, AHE boasted that its Operating NPAT of the 4-months (Jul-Oct this year) was $24.4m, up 7.5% from $22.7m a year ago.
But, what it didn't tell you was that its total issued shares increased by 17.6% to 307m from 261m in the same period.
Thus, its earnings per share for the same 4-m periods actually slumped (!!!) by 8.6% from 8.70c/s (=$22.7m/261m) to 7.95c (=$24.4m/307m).
What a wonderful trick!
