Some confusion it seems about how much WWI will receive from this arrangement..
Here's how i read the statement, which said WWI will pay no opex or capex.
The company "will receive approxiamately US$25 a tonne for each tonne of ore extracted following recovery of costs."
130,000 tonnes of extracted x US$25/tonne = US$3.25 million.
If this is repatriated to Australia at say 0.73 then you get A$4.8 million.
If this proves to be the case from this first stage of the project then this should comfortably fund any ongoing exploration program in South Africa, provide ample funds to develop Derewo and allay any concerns about potential capital raising, ie future CR won't be needed.
Unlikely to be the sort of income generator to fund massive dividend payments to long suffering shareholders but certainly the sort of income to help provide solid support for the SP at current levels.
